Damson Vodka
We began with our award-winning Barley Vodka, then we left it to steep with fresh English damsons. The warm plummy notes of the fruit combine beautifully with the soft mouth-feel of the vodka for an extraordinarily full-bodied flavour.
Tasting notes
The Nose
Bright, fresh, red fruit notes give way to ripe plum and cherry with added almond and marzipan.
The Palate
Vibrant rich plum and cherry notes with spicy cinammon and citrus freshness.
The Finish
Buttery smooth finish with balanced sweetness and confident rounded length.
Accolades
Praise for our Damson Vodka
Extremely plummy with marzipan notes on the nose, we loved the fruity, zingy palate with cherries and spices. Lovely shaken in a cocktail, but with its full, well-rounded mouthfeel, it is also dangerously drinkable when served on the rocks.

Who would have thought that boutique distillers Sipsmith could improve on their superb gin & vodka? Well, they just did with the launch of the fabulous new limited edition Damson Vodka and vintage Sloe Gin. It's really special, and I highly recommend that you get your paws on a few bottles.

During the maceration process the stone from the damson throws out a wonderful almond note that is a delightful complement to the rich fruit flavours.
